Estimating Sums

JC and his mother are planning to buy gifts for JCs birthday. JCs mother starts by adding up the number of students and teachers in his class. She teaches JC how to estimate sums in addition and subtrion by rounding off certain approximate values. This helps them decide the number of gifts they need to buy.\r
