In todays video Im going to share with you some really great acrylic tools from Teresa Salgado (aka Tiny Pandora).\r
\r
They are designed for working with and making polymer clay canes. Teresa was kind enough to send me a complete lineup these products for demo purposes. \r
\r
The first set are the Cane Caps (2 small square caps, 2 large square caps, 2 small round caps and 2 large round caps). They can be used to help reduce the amount of end waste that can happen during the cane reduction process.\r
\r
Then there are the Cane Benders and Square Benders, which are sets of 4 different sizes of acrylic Lucite Rods. These are wonderful for putting long ridges and channels down the length of a cane, which is especially handy when making picture canes and Kaleidoscope canes.\r
\r
Lastly, the Square Pairs set is 3 different sized pairs of hollow acrylic square rods. They will help you to reshape round canes into square canes, and they can also be used for squaring up angular canes.\r
\r
All of these cane making tools are made from high quality Lucite Acrylic. They are strong, smooth and non-reive to polymer clay.\r
\r
In the video I show you what these tools look like, how I store them and I briefly explain how they are used.\r
\r
Teresa has some great videos that go further into detail on how to use the tools. She also shares some unique ideas for making kaleidoscope canes, among other things. Ive provided a link to her YouTube Channel, below. \r
\r
I sure wish I had these tools earlier, because they would have made some of my cane making projects a lot easier to do, with a lot less waste!\r
