Heartwarming video of a boy's reaction when he hears clearly for the first time with the help of hearing aids.

The footage, captured in Alberta, Canada, shows 7-year-old Brody smiling as he talks with his mother.

''Our son lost all high frequency hearing,'' the mother later wrote online.

''It was amazing to see his reaction the first time he could hear himself talk, and laugh, not to mention the part when he said he could even hear the air.''

''He has adapted really well to his hearing aids. He is so grateful for them and they have become such a huge part of who he is.''

''It's amazing how kids can be so resilient and brave,'' she added.
