Gifs and videos are coming together in this visual deal. Giphy and Vimeo announced their partnership on Thursday, giving users the ability to add gifs on Vimeo. Giphy also added a new embed player on their website that will bring gifs to third-party websites with ease. In addition, Vimeo thumbnails will be short, looping clips instead of a plain image. “Gifs and videos always had a relationship,” said Giphy’s director of brand strategy Julie Logan.
