“Love and Marriage” is a drama of a famous woman anchor who is struggling with a decision of becoming a single parent. Written By Ko Yoon Hee (Purpose of Love, 2005), this is a story that seeks for the true meaning of love and marriage.

방송국에서 제일 잘 나가는 메인 뉴스 앵커인 차기영(박시연 분)은 신문사 음식 담당기자인 박태연(노민우 분)과 가까워지고 아이를 임신한다. 하지만 결혼에 앞서 가부장적인 태연의 집안 분위기에 질려 아이만 낳아 기르는 비혼모의 길을 선택하게 된다. 한편 여대생 성추행 사건으로 국회의원 선거에서 고배를 마시고 다시 방송국 앵커로 복귀하려는 조은차(배수빈 분)는 기영의 반대에 부딪치자 임신 사실을 폭로하겠다고 그녀를 협박한다. 여기에 계약직 AD인 현명이(엄현경 분)가 태연이 ‘로열패밀리’인 사실을 알고 신분상승을 위해 의도적으로 접근하면서 네 남녀의 복잡한 관계는 더욱 꼬여 간다.

A leading anchor and a role model for many, Ki Young is pregnant with Tae Yeon’s Child. Tae Yeon is a free-spirited food columnist. However, Ki Young is against the expected roles and responsibilities of a Korean marriage system and wishes to become a single mom instead of tying the knot with Tae Yeon. Meanwhile, Eun Cha is seeking for a comeback after he’s been off-screen due to a sex scandal. The company is convincing Ki Young to step down as the main anchor after her single mom announcement, and Eun Cha is planning to take over. But he is surprisingly attracted to Ki Young who is fighting for her rights as a single mom.
