Transforming Turkey's Cultural Identity: A European Perspective

ADNAN OKTAR: To summarize, we should become the most enlightened, the highest quality, most distinguished country of Europe. The contrary is not fitting. They should not attempt to make us Middle Eastern because we won't be one. We do not want such a culture, we wish for European culture. We should be the most advanced civilization of Europe that is the highest quality in every aspect. We should not let a handful of bigots to drag us along we must not accept this.
