Many of my performances over the past 2 years have been around China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore. Chinese (Mandarin) is the most widely spoken language in the entire world. There are almost 2 BILLION Chinese speaking people on the planet, and only half a billion Spanish speakers (the 2nd most spoken language). So if you'd like to be able to communicate with almost a 3rd of the world's population it's very helpful to know a bit of Chinese. Fortunately it's not as hard to learn as you may think.
This video is part 2 of an introduction to Chinese Pinyin which is an easy way to read and write Chinese using the English Alphabet. Memorize these sounds and you'll be well on you're way to speaking basic Mandarin.
