Now comes the moment of truth on Iran. The EU and United States have set the wheels in motion to lift sanctions against Tehran ahead of a Monday meeting in Vienna to monitor compliance with the historic nuclear deal. Sunday was Adoption Day, when Iranians had to start mothballing thousands of centrifuges and eliminating 95% of their enriched-uranium stockpile. Will the lifting of sanctions embolden Tehran in the region, or will the prospect of trade deals draw it closer to the West?
