-are not the same thing,
~poems are a work of art,
-that come from the heart,
-in the form of poetry.
~poetry has different meanings,
-to different minds,
-to such different people.
~some say that poetry,
-is the meaning of poems,
-this is wrong.
~every poem comes from different minds,
-to such different minds, there is the inspiration,
-and to such inspirations...there is the backstory.
~that story is what poetry truly is,
-not just a story,
-but something much different.
~when the mind, heart, and words,
-come together.
~using the words,
-to describe the story.
~using the heart,
-to pick the simple words.
~and using the mind,
-to pick these simple words.
-into deep and great meanings,
-that shall live on forever.
~this, this is what poetry truly is,
-but, not all minds are the same.
~so there will always be,
-different meanings,
-to poems and poetry.
