Angel Angel - . Suns light

at times it all feels like a farce
a mask that you dont wanna remove
behind which the tears dun stop flowing
yet the mask simply deludes

the world does not stop nor end
jus cos one person cares less
just till yesterday you could not ask enough
if i was safe, comfortable and well fed?
No, t'was neither a farce nor an act
but today i sadly ponder,
what and why changed overnight?

nature dicates its truth
shorn of pretense and lies
the sunflower without its sun's light
simply shrivels and dies
