Bonnie Collins - The Forbidden Fruit

Borrowed moments borrowed time
sifted through a mill of agony

LIfelessly and through the gates
of eden, you graciously invited
me to share with you a fruit of love

Excepting your invatation oblivious
to the realization that would occur

Living in exhile, wondering through
many ellusive moments of deception

Trying to decifer which Orchard I entered
was only becomming a nightly ritual that
seemed endlessly repetitious of the night
before

Granted this was my decision to enter
but somehow between yes, I somehow
should have said no...........
