I'm trapped in a box <br />And this box is trapped in a place <br />And this place is trapped in a society <br />A society were anything above a size 5 is unacceptable <br />A society were anyone different is considered weird <br />A society were being smart is no longer cool or appreciated <br />A society were books are frowned upon <br />A society were being fake is considered being real <br />A society were people only care about themselves or nothing at all <br />A society were kids stay inside all day instead of going outside <br />A society full of people who give up when a challenge comes along <br />A society that stuffs there face full and complains about healthy food when world hunger is a serious issue <br />A society when being real means never keeping a comment to yourself <br />A society were modesty is barely alive <br />A society were obesity is a leading death <br />A society were school now comes second to partying for most people <br />A society were a lot of people don't graduate or go to college <br />A society were being pregnant at age 13 and above is a common thing <br />A society were people struggles in life are shown on TV for our own entertainment <br />A society were suicide is a leading cause and they wonder why <br />A society sadly I'm stuck in <br />For I'm trapped in a box <br />And this box is trapped in a place <br />And this place is trapped in a sad society<br /><br />Cassidy Fohs<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/trapped-in-society/
