Oh Bangladesh! where
Hijol tree and Sonalu flowers grow,
Padma, Meghna, Brahmaputra
and many silver rivers flow,
how dear to us
your golden paddy field
your Sundarbans and
creepers covered hill.
Oh Bangladesh land of
freedom fighters, our love
your beauty we praise
all other land above.
