What Is Fire Blocking

You'll notice fire blocking here, this is at the eight foot level. They've just begun, in this home, putting this in. This house isn't completely framed, so everything isn't installed yet. Fire blocking, primarily, is a draft stop, and it's to keep air from pulling up and getting into the attic space.
