Controversial Puskas Award Selection 🤔

Each year, the Puskas is awarded to the most beautiful goal scored around the world. Until 2018, it was entirely decided by fan voting, however, FIFA opted to change it after Mo Salah’s strike vs Everton won with 38% of the vote, beating out bicycle kicks from Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as many other screamers. It was obviously still a nice goal, but out these 5, it was objectively the worst. Since then FIFA’s moved to fans voting the top 3, with the winning goal being selected by an independent panel.
