Dileep Acquitted in 2017 Kerala Actress Assault Case

Actor Dileep has been finally acquitted in the 2017 Kerala actress abduction and sexual assault case. The verdict, which brings an end to the nearly eight-year-long trial, was pronounced by Ernakulam Principal Sessions Judge Honey M. Varghese on Monday. The court said it has been unable to prove Dileep's involvement in the criminal conspiracy, citing lack of evidence.
