The Trump administration’s laughably false conclusion that there’s no Epstein “client list” sent shockwaves through the right-wing ecosphere. Most conservatives don’t believe the Trump administration and have expressed profound confusion about why the Trump administration would “cover up” (read: this is their words) the crimes of powerful men. None, however, have even considered for a second whether or not Trump won’t release the Epstein files because he was implicated.
