Without liking MATHEMATICS, you WILL fail at programming…

Although there is some truth to this.. It’s not what you think.

Unless you are a statistical programmer in some very financial and calculation based companies, you probably don’t need to know Pythagoras or sin, cos and tan to make it in programming.

The truth however is, programming is 95% problem solving.. Which is exactly what math is.

I really enjoyed math at school because of the problem solving element.. When I struggle to figure something out, it’s painful and extremely irritating, BUT the satisfaction of achieving the right outcome is so addicting.. And that’s why I enjoy math..

That’s also exactly why I enjoy programming!

You don’t need University level mathematics understanding to make it in programming, but you MUST enjoy problem solving!
