When you hear the name Christopher Nolan, what's the first thing that comes to mind? For many, the answer to that question would be Interstellar. Upon release though, reviews for Interstellar were above average but largely unremarkable. Fast forward to today, and the consensus on Interstellar has shifted. It's now often considered one of the greatest science fiction movies ever made. Why did this shift occur? How come critics didn't seem to fully understand the movie on release? And what effect did Interstellar have on Nolan's career and the sci-fi genre? Today we'll be finding the answers to those questions, and in the coming weeks, I'll be taking a look at each film in Christopher Nolan's stellar filmography.
