Why Do Fans Confuse Jazz & Sideswipe in the Transformers Movies? I think we can all agree that the Michael Bay characters all bare unique designs. But there are times where the fans ocassionally get them mixed up. Like when they incorrectly say that it was Optimus that landed in the pool. Even though it was obviously Ironhide since the scene cuts to him scanning his vehicle and you can see the same trees in the background. And you clearly see Optimus standing on a hill when he scans his truck in the following scene. But 1 of the most frustrating mistakes is when they confuse Jazz with Sideswipe. 2 character who have different personalities and aesthetics. But to fair they do however share a similar color scheme. Everything else is different. 1 is shorter and has optic visor. While the other sports blades and wheels for feet. Not to mention Jazz literally dies in the first movie. But apparently viewers believe that he was revived and reformatted into Sideswipe.
