Did you notice this in the amazing digital circus? In the latest episode, Pomni hugs Jax and he pushes her away from him. Why did this happen? Let me explain! Earlier in the episode, outside Zoobles room, Jax and Pomni start singing daisy bell. They genuinely bonded with each other. They bonded so much that Pomni, who dislikes physical touch, touches Jax showing that she liked their time spent together. Jax spent a great time too and after this interaction, Jax looked at Kaufmo and then Ribbits room. His whole mindset suddenly switches. He got reminded of his old best friend and remembered to not get too close to Pomni. He fears that he might either break her mentally or break himself when she abstracts. This is his coping mechanism. He pushes people away, detaching himself from everyone in the circus to avoid the pain he once felt for his best friend.
