Two legendary names always come up:

East Bay Dragons MC 🐉 – Founded in Oakland, CA in 1959 by Tobie Gene Levingston, originally as a car club before switching to Harleys. They never patched in outside chapters and stayed tight-knit and local—but made a national impact.

Chosen Few MC ✊🏽 – Also founded in 1959, but in Los Angeles, CA. What makes them groundbreaking is that they were the first officially integrated MC—Black and white bikers riding together when that was unheard of. They're still active and respected nationwide.
