At the risk of sounding too much like a fan, I think that Dexter: Resurrection has been one of the finest American crime drama mystery series in recent times. The sequel series to Dexter: New Blood and Dexter has Michael C. Hall reprising his role as the titular Dexter Morgan, and a lot happens in the show from Dexter Morgan going from being in a coma to hooking up with a serial murder club. Dexter: Resurrection also tapped into the emotional bond between Dexter and his son Harrison, but for me, the most intriguing part of the show has been the repeated mention of the elusive New York Ripper, an inactive serial killer whose identity is unknown.
