Digital Circus Ep 7 Theory: Who Is Scratch? 🤔

During episode 7 kinger reveals that the first human to abstract was scratch. Who are they? What’s their lore? Let me explain.

So in the episode the cast find out that caine can alter the minds of the cast. Kinger says scratch the first abstraction, which freaks out caine meaning he was likely responsible for scratch going insane.

Fans were immediately wondering who this character could be.

Well an image surfaced from 2024 from the 3d artist at glitch who designed some of the doors. They revealed that the yellow dog is called scratch.

We’ve seen this dog during the spudsy’s episode on the dobby dog item as well.

So now we know who scratch is. Perhaps we’ll see them appear in a flashback.

There’s a chance they were one of kinger’s co workers who worked on the circus. Especially since they were one of the original humans in the circus, and he specifically remembers them by name. We could see it play out in a flashback, with caine messing with scratch’s mind and they abstract.
