Electoral Reform in Canada: What Could Change? 🇨🇦

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held onto another minority government for the Liberals in the 2021 federal election, despite coming in second in the popular vote, behind the Conservatives. In fact, with the First Past the Post system, the Liberals gained nearly 40 more seats than the Conservatives.

So what would electoral reform look like in Canada and what are some of the alternatives to the current First Past the Post system? And what changes could be made to make the results better reflect how people vote?
