@Superuser Allows Other Apps Root Access. Superuser is the first app a user should install after rooting, if the rooting method didn't do it already. "Rooting" a phone allows a user to establish total control over the device, but Superuser is the app that provides the button for that control

*Why should you root your phone?

@Rooting means gaining root access to your device. When you take your phone out of the box, while there are plenty of settings you can tweak, you can only alter what the manufacturer allows you to. By gaining root access you can modify the device's software on the very deepest level.

*Is it illegal to root a phone?

@Note that some android manufacturers allow you to root the device with their permission. For example all Google's Nexus smartphones and tablets allow easy, official rooting, that isn't illegal. Unfortunately, rooting, and even unlocking smartphones is likely illegal in some countries.
