About this video
In this video I want to talk briefly about 3 concepts that get interchanged frequently: Karma - Fate - Destiny
What is Fate? Fate is a set of predetermined set of actions or course. It refers to a pre-set or an unchangeable future that will happen regardless of what anyone does. It does not give the person an option or a will.
The origin of the concept of fate can be dated back to the Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome, where the 3 Fates as they are known in English are goddesses that were in charge of spinning the thread that represented a person’s life. The concept of fate relies heavily on the existence of a great, almighty force that decides the future of every human.
What do we mean by destiny?
When we talk about destiny, we are talking the events that will necessarily happen to a particular persons future.
Fate and destiny are interconnected as both concepts speak about events that will happen in someones future. However, the concept of Destiny also has Christian influences. A follower of Christianity will believe that God knows everything that’ll happen in your life and has given you a destiny — something to do in this life, something only you can do. This destiny has been set. The only thing you have to do --is choose that destiny.
So the question we are now faced with is this: How do fate and destiny relate to KARMA?
