What Did Scratch Say To Caine During The Digital Circus Episode 8?

Did you know this in the amazing digital circus?

During episode 8’s flashback we see scratch briefly, but don’t hear what he says. In the german dub you can hear his line, let me explain.

So in the episode kinger observes the first group, with scratch talking to caine. We can’t hear what they say.

In the german dub scratch speaks, i’ll roll the clip.

So he just asks caine what the place is and if they can get out.

I mentioned this in a video and one of the producers of the german dub saw it and left a comment. In it he explained that they thought it was a little awkward with his mouth moving so close to the camera and there being no sound, so they gave him a simple nothingburger line that fit his mouth movements. It was just background noise, and was recorded by one of the sound engineers.

So that’s the theory solved really, it was just a neat addition it wasn’t plot relevant or anything. Personally i thought it was really cool, I think this is one of my favourite additions to a dub, along with the skibidi sigma line from caine.
