Top Wetsuit Hacks to Make Putting on Your Scuba Suit Easier 🧜‍♂️

Wetsuit donning has never been easier for divers! As the water gets colder and wetsuits get thicker, putting on a wetsuit gets harder and harder, so today, I have 3 hacks for wetsuit donning! 1. Use a skin suit or Lycra leggings to help the wetsuit slide on. This is a great alternative to plastic bags over your hands and feet but if your wetsuits warmth is from the fuzz inside, skip this method. My leggings here are from @waterlust and are great. 2. Use soapy water to make the wetsuit slippy. 1 part soap to LOTS of water usually does the trick, shake it up and get some bubbles then pour these into the wetsuit. Such a great way of you or your wetsuit is already wet. Make sure to use a reef safe soap ☺️ this soap is @stream2sea so fully reef safe 3. Use baby powder when the wetsuit is dry and you’re dry (otherwise it makes a paste- gross!). This is the best option for drysuits also and makes your wetsuit less sticky and easier to don. There are many other ways such as being submerged fully in water while donning the suit or special gadgets to put over hands and feet but these are my favorite ways with options you normally have at home!
