Weilburg Castle: Romantic German Castle 🌸

Weilburg Castle stands on a hill above the old town of Weilburg about 20km from Wetzlar in Hessen, Germany. It is very big, has extensive gardens and is in a remarkably good condition. It is well worth taking the guided tour through the many interesting rooms and corridors. The town and castle are very easy to find and there were plenty of places to park, (at least in october !)

Das Schloss Weilburg ist eine der bedeutendsten barocken Schlossanlagen in Hessen. Auf einer Länge von 400 Meter erhebt es sich auf der Ostflanke eines zum Taunus gehörenden Bergspornes über der Lahn und bedeckt fast die Hälfte der Fläche der Weilburger Altstadt. (Wikipedia)
