Night Sky Lights Up Over Pakistan-Afghanistan Border 🌌

Clashes broke out late on December 5 along the tense Pakistan–Afghanistan border, with both countries accusing each other of initiating “unprovoked” fire. Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed Pakistan launched attacks in Spin Boldak, forcing Afghan forces to retaliate. Pakistan, however, said the Afghan Taliban opened fire first. Residents reported that the firefight lasted about two hours at night. The latest violence follows weeks of rising tensions and deadly confrontations despite a truce agreed in October.
