Albert Einstein is hailed as one of the most intelligent individuals to have ever graced our world. It may come as a perplexing surprise to many that he failed an exam required for admission to the University of Bern. Moreover, he often found himself reprimanded for daydreaming in class and harboring a negative attitude towards his teachers. Yet, there is much more to this story than meets the eye (or ear).

To clarify, Albert Einstein's failure on the University of Bern exam was primarily due to not meeting the acceptance standards. He attempted the test at the age of 16, in a language in which he was not fluent. In the realm of education, he held disdain for the rote learning approach and was already well-versed in the material being taught in the classroom, leading to feelings of monotony. So, was Albert Einstein an underachieving student? Perhaps. However, his struggles were not rooted in academic shortcomings, but rather in his dissatisfaction with the prevailing educational system
