Module 3 – Cryptographic Solutions
In this module, we will explore what makes encryption work. We will look at what types of encryption we have, how they work in general, and what attributes make them good for different solutions.
We will look at the concepts in such a way that you can use them today, tomorrow, and in ten years to understand what makes for good cryptography, regardless of the changes in technology.
We will also tackle some of the tricky topics like Perfect Forward Secrecy and Digital Signatures, that if you understand it from the beginning, you’ll have an edge over others who delayed understanding those topics.
This is all based on how CompTIA Security+™ and LPI Security Essentials™ want to avoid knowledge that will age as cipher suites and specific cryptographic solutions, and rather give you the foundation to build upon with experience, further training and certifications.
Below are the time stamps for you to easily navigate and jump back to sections as and when you need to.
