Venezuela Officially Exits the Organization of American States

On Saturday Venezuela officially ceased being a member of the Organization of American States, two years after the Bolivarian government announced its withdrawal. This follows years of attacks by the regional body against Venezuela's sovereignty and democratically elected government.
