What’s the full story of 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi?

Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Motipur village in Bihar started playing cricket at the age of just 4.

Seeing his talent, his father enrolled him in a cricket academy when he was 9 years old.

At just 12, Vaibhav began his career by playing in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy for Bihar.

In that tournament, he scored nearly 400 runs in just 5 matches.

In January 2024, still only 12 years old, he made his Ranji Trophy debut for Bihar.

This was a huge achievement, considering legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh made their first-class debuts at the age of 15.

In September 2024, Vaibhav was selected for India’s Under-19 team.

He is also set to play in the U-19 Asia Cup in the UAE.

And in the IPL 2025 auction, Rajasthan Royals bought him for ₹1.1 crore.

Soon after, in just his third match, Vaibhav smashed a century off only 35 balls against Gujarat Titans, becoming the youngest player in IPL history to score a century.
