Verdi's 'Va, pensiero' at Nabucco Gala 🎶

🎥 For the grand finale of the Verdi Festival Gala, the choir and soloists came together to perform ‘Va pensiero’ from Nabucco. Let’s celebrate the recent recognition of Italian lyrical singing as World Heritage by UNESCO with one of the most famous compositions of the repertoire!

Recently broadcast live from @teatroregioparma, the programme of arias, choruses, and overtures features soprano Eleonora Buratto, mezzo-soprano Clémentine Margaine, tenor Gregory Kunde, and bass Michele Pertusi. Conductor Omer Meir Wellber leads the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini and the Coro del Teatro Regio di Parma.
