UST workers, students rally vs Manila ordinance on medical certificates<br /><br />Workers and students protest outside the University of Santo Tomas on Aug. 9, 2024 against Manila City ordinance 8973, which requires workers to submit a health permit for their employment. Ugnayan ng mga Nagkakaisang Manggagawa ng UST Hospital President Donnel Siazon said this was redundant and infringed on workers' rights.
