Using a Rugby Ball as a Golf Putting Aid

This is now one of my favourite training drills/aids 🤣
.
I originally bought this as a bit of a laugh as I have always seen them about and have been wanting to try one for a while
.
However after trying this rugby ball shaped golf ball on the practice green i found that it can actually really help with your putting stroke
.
It will only roll reasonably straight if you make a proper contact on the ball
.
Although I hit loads of putts with it and I didn’t actually see one ball roll completely perfect all the way into the hole so I don’t actually know if that is possible or not
.
On top of everything, it is quite enjoyable to practice with as it is something challenging and different to what we’re used to so that in itself is good if it means making practice more fun!
