USDA Cuts SNAP Benefits During Shutdown: Are Americans Being Left Behind? 🇺🇸

The USDA announced it won’t offer SNAP benefits in November to the 40 million Americans that rely on the program due to the ongoing government shutdown. To make matters worse, Trump has chosen to not use $6 billion in contingency funds to keep the program running. This will force millions of Americans to choose between eating and paying the bills. Despite the direness of the situation, some TikTokers have decided to talk about how little they care about Americans who are about to go hungry. In this video we’ll talk about the way Americans have been brainwashed by our capitalist system to hate people less fortunate than them, and we’ll also discuss some practical solutions to support our communities.
