The US Navy fired upon and boarded an Iranian-flagged cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman, and the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, with Iran setting out new fee rules and prohibiting ships affiliated with Israel from passing without permission.

Trump threatened to destroy every power plant and bridge in Iran if negotiations fail, while Iranians denied conceding to several points the US president said are part of the plan, including the end of their nuclear program.
