KARACHI: The Sindh Home Department has issued a threat alert, warning of terrorists plan to attack key public places in Karachi including the most frequented Zainab Market. <br /> <br />Issued by the provincial home department, the threat alert cites intelligence reports as warning that terrorists could target key places and buildings in Karachi like Sindh High Court, Sindh Assembly, Empress Market, Zainab Market, M.A. Jinnah Road and restaurants in Do Darya, Defence. <br /> <br />Some of the areas identified in the threat alert falls under the Red Zone. <br /> <br />The letter asks all police departments to exercise stringent security measures and step up security at all such places in view of the threats.
