Unlocking the Secrets of Cryptography: From Spies to Online Security 🔒

Edward Felten, professor of computer science and public affairs and director of the Center for Information Technology Policy, discusses "Cryptography: Secret Coding, Spying, and E-Commerce." This lecture is part of a series on "engineering the future." Other topics include cryptography, sustainable energy, transportation systems, water stewardship, greenhouse gases, and the future of the internet. The series was developed by the Princeton Adult School in conjunction with School of Engineering Dean H. Vincent Poor and Princeton University's Office of Community and Regional Affairs. These talks constituted the Princeton Adult School's Anne B. Shepherd Lecture Series for the spring of 2010.
