About this video
At the 5th seminar of our MATH+ seminar series, we are hosting our esteemed FENS Dean Prof. Dr. Erkay SavaΕ.
"A Very Brief Introduction to Lattice-Based Homomorphic Encryption"
Abstract: Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) represents a recent breakthrough in modern cryptography, endowed with the intrinsic capability to conduct computations on encrypted data. The significance of this capability renders FHE an indispensable tool for privacy-preserving computations, particularly finding applications in medical, financial, and industrial contexts. In this talk, we will give a very brief introduction on the FHE algorithms based on hard lattice problems, which are conjectured to be resistant against hypothetical quantum computers.
