We go over how to encode and decode a cryptogram using matrix multiplication and the inverse of a matrix. By taking a secret message, turning it into row matrices, then doing some matrix multiplication, we can easily encode a message into a cryptogram only readable by somebody who knows the encoding matrix. Then, by using the inverse of the encoding matrix to decipher the cryptogram, the original message can be read. #linearalgebra #cryptography
