About this video
I look at a fun way to encode secret messages using matrix multiplication - the Hill Cipher.
Secret message:
row 1: 8, 21, 14, 1, 6, 16, 14, 16, 14, 14, 19, 10
row 2: 3, 12, 16, 14, 9, 13, 4, 26, 18, 11, 4, 23
Encoding matrix:
row 1: 7, 1
row 2: 8, 1
Make sure you take the result modulo 29 when you decode the message!
