About this video

security is very important aspect of any system. its very important for any system organization or personal to secure their data and information and also save their assets.for securing any system or organization we use different algorithms protocols rules ets. for securing the data from unauthorized user we use different techniques for example for confidentiality we send data in encrypted form so that our opponent cant understand. for this purpose there are many encryption protocols and standard . DES data encryption standard is one of them. in this lecture we discuss in detail about DES. what is DES, how DES work ,DES Encryption Examples. plain and cipher text using DES. DES is symmetric key algorithms for the encryption of digital data.its uses block encryption techniques. its uses 64 bit block size and 56 bit key for encryption.its take plain text and perform different series of operation to convert in cipher text and on other side its take cipher text and after performing series of operation convert it into plain text. The Data Encryption Standard (DES) is a symmetric-key block cipher published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).The encryption process is made of two permutations (P-boxes), which we call initial and final permutations, and sixteen Feistel rounds each round has (S-box).The S-boxes do the real mixing (confusion). DES uses 8 S-boxes, each with a 6-bit input and a 4-bit output.Using mixers and swappers, we can create the cipher and reverse cipher, each having 16 rounds.its have many advantages
First Standard Mechanism for Encryption. Not Complex and easy to implement. There are 72,000,000,000,000,000 (72 quadrillion) or more possible encryption keys that can be used. For each given message, the Key is chosen at random from. among this enormous number of keys. have a high security level related to a small key used for encryption and decryption.
be efficient and exportable. in this lecture we try our best to explain how DES encryption done by using practical example. i hope you follow it and enjoy it. remember me in your prayer. stay tuned with "techno learn" for next learning. wish you best of luck Jeety rhen khush rhen.
