There are different ways to record your gameplay videos depending on what device you are using. If you are playing on an Xbox console, you can use the Xbox button \uE3E3 on your controller to open the guide menu and select Capture & share. You can then choose to start recording, take a screenshot, or record the last few moments of gameplay³. You can also use the Share button \uE73B on the new Xbox Wireless Controller to take a screenshot or record a game clip³. You can customize the settings for your captures in Profile & system Settings Preferences Capture & share³.

If you are playing on a Windows PC, you can use the Game Bar app to capture videos and screenshots while playing PC games. To open the Game Bar, press the Windows logo key \uE560 + G on your keyboard. You can then choose to start recording, take a screenshot, or record the last few moments of gameplay⁴. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts Windows logo key \uE560 + Alt + G to start and stop recording, and Windows logo key \uE560 + Alt + PrintScreen to take a screenshot². You can edit and share your captures using the Xbox app².

If you are playing on a Cloud Gaming device, you can use a capture card like the Elgato HD 60 to record your entire console⁶.
