Helmet cam footage shows international fighters in an intense fight for their survival during heavy close combat with Russian forces as the men where storming a Russian held village during an assault operation on the eastern flank.

The video captures members of Chosen Company, a now-disbanded unit of international volunteers who served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces during combat operations in the town of Pervomaiske, located just on the doorstep of Donetsk City on the eastern front.

At first, the international fighters assaulted relatively unmotivated Russian Storm-Z units and were able to capture about half of the town.

Later, the entire company was sent in to storm the village and seize the remaining half.

However, this time they encountered heavily fortified and well-prepared Russian positions, manned by skilled fighters and supported by a wide arsenal of indirect fire weapons such as mortars and artillery, as well as drones.

Furthermore, the area was heavily mined.

This resulted in the men being maneuvered directly into a pre-defined kill zone with heavily fortified positions, where an intense fight for life and death began.

As mentioned, everything was recorded from multiple GoPro helmet cameras worn by the soldiers.
