Ukraine Makes History by Downing Russian Fighter Jet with Naval Drone 🚀

In an unprecedented operation, Ukrainian special forces have become the first in the world to destroy a combat aircraft using a naval drone.<br /><br />The strike, carried out on May 2, 2025, targeted a Russian Su-30SM multirole fighter, which was shot down over the Black Sea by an unmanned Magura maritime drone equipped with an R-73 infrared-guided surface-to-air missile.<br /><br />The operation was conducted by soldiers from Group 13, a special unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and other Defense Forces.<br /><br />Source and images: Telegram @DIUkraine<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
