About this video
UAE State Minister Reem Al-Hashimy told CNN UAE is "prepared to defend themselves", but added that they "hope it doesn't come to that".
Al-Hashimy said: "Rest assured to the people of this country that we will leave no stone unturned to make sure that we do defend ourselves".
Explosions have been hitting Dubai and Abu Dhabi since Saturday, as the UAE has become one of several Gulf states sucked into the US-Israeli conflict with Iran.
The United Arab Emirates has intercepted rounds of missiles and drones launched towards the country from Iranian territory since US and Israeli strikes on Iran began.
However, some missiles and drones appear to be making it through the UAE's air defences.
